Clara Soto Arias (she/her) is a Peruvian sociologist, researcher, and teaching assistant in the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at PUCP. She is currently a Master’s candidate in Gender, Development and Globalisation at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Her work focuses on gender, development, and urbanisation. She has contributed to research projects in Peru and across Latin America, primarily centred on care and gender-based violence, and has previously worked on promoting inclusive workplace policies at the International Labour Organization.
