Vanessa Graf is a writer and researcher most likely to be found in one of three situations: reading, marveling at large-scale infrastructures, or running away from answering her e-mails. She is currently working on her PhD project on Internet infrastructures in the Swiss and Austrian Alps as part of the MAKE/SENSE graduate school. Her work is centered around the interaction of digital technology with culture and ecology, in particular as mediated by narratives, metaphors, and (sociotechnical) imaginaries. She holds a Bachelor in Political Science from SciencesPo Paris and a Master in Media and Culture Studies from the University of Art and Design Linz. Currently, she is supplementing her research with a Bachelor in Biology at the University of Salzburg.
