For the second colloquium session of the fall season, the CML will host three IXDM researchers to share something they are working through right now: a problem, a question, or a snag they’ve run into in their research or practice. Don’t expect polished talks – the point of this session is to open up work in progress, to share, to start a conversation, to flesh things out together.

How it works

After short introductions to the respective sessions, we will split up in groups and each guest will give more context on why the issue matters to them and how they came to it, then lead a discussion or interactive exercise around an object that keeps on giving (a film, a text, a piece from an exhibition, a flyer, or anything else that made them pause).

What’s the point?

This is a chance to get to know people who you might not have met yet, and to ask questions you might not even know you had. We want to find the places where our interests intersect, and to try doing research collectively and in the open, as a shared, unfinished, intimate conversation in public. Everyone is welcome. No preparation needed. Just come curious and ready to think along.
