Mariana Tilly

Research Assistant

Mariana Tilly is a Portuguese artist and researcher based in Basel. She holds a BFA in Painting from the Fine-Arts University of Lisbon and an MA from Institut Kunst FHNW. She is currently a PhD candidate at the MAKE/SENSE program of the FHNW Academy of Art and Design and Kunstuniversität Linz, working on the subjects of decolonising processes and migration flows as consequences of geopolitical trauma (PALOP, Portugal, Switzerland) and the impact of visual representation in histories of neglect.
